Sybase, Inc. last week reported financial results for the third quarter ended September 30, 2009. "The team continued to execute very well and enabled us to deliver our best-ever third quarter results in the company history," John Chen, chairman, CEO and president of Sybase, said during an earnings call announcing the results. The company achieved third quarter records in total revenue, operating income, operating margin, net income, EPS, and cash flow from operations.
HiT Software, a provider of products for database access, integration and replication, has announced Allora 6.0, the newest version of the company's data transformation product.
ISUG is continuing on a technical seminar tour focused on data management. Every stop on the tour will include a full day of technical seminars for users of Sybase Adaptive Server Enterprise, Replication Server and Sybase IQ. Each session will show the benefits of the latest versions of each product and is aimed at users that have either completed the migration to version 15, or are about to do so.
Quest Software has introduced a new version of Toad for Data Analysts, a multi-platform tool designed for IT and business professionals who need to quickly access, understand and report on data.

The International Sybase User Group has announced that the election of the ISUG Board of Directors for 2010-2011 will take place between November 30 and December 18, 2009. All nominations for election must be submitted before November 9, 2009.
