SAP is continuing to add its tech to the fight against COVID-19 by launching its vaccine collaboration hub (VCH) for organizations to better manage vaccine supply distribution. SAP's VCH is built on SAP Information Collaboration Hub for Life Sciences. It covers the end-to-end process from manufacturing to controlled distribution to administration and post-vaccine monitoring.

Navisite is acquiring Dickinson + Associates, an SAP consulting firm based in Chicago, expanding its SAP service portfolio. As a Premier SAP Gold Partner with over 22 years as a leading SAP systems integrator, Dickinson will enhance Navisite's SAP managed cloud services portfolio with end-to-end SAP business application and platform expertise, proven methodologies, and customized solutions to address unique industry challenges. 

SAP has completed the acquisition of Emarsys, a leading omnichannel customer engagement platform provider. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed. The Emarsys products will be added to the SAP Customer Experience portfolio.

SAP and Qualtrics are releasing Qualtrics XM for Suppliers, a new solution that empowers organizations to identify key areas of improvement across the source-to-pay process. Qualtrics XM for Suppliers combines data from an organization's SAP Ariba, SAP Fieldglass and SAP S/4HANA solutions with real-time supplier insights and AI-driven intelligence from Qualtrics, an SAP company.


Think About It

COVID-19 is far from over, and consequently, many people find themselves facing extended work-from-home (WFH) timelines. Tech companies, such as Twitter and Square, which in May announced the "work from home forever" option—and Facebook, which CEO Mark Zuckerberg has stated may have as many as half of the company's employees working remotely in the next 5-10 years—are leading the WFH charge.
