Sybase, Inc., an SAP company, has announced the release of Sybase IQ 15.3 to beta customers. The new release introduces the PlexQ Distributed Query Platform, a massively parallel processing (MPP) architecture that accelerates highly complex queries by distributing work to many computers in a grid configuration. GA is planned for the first half of 2011.
Sybase has announced a new release of Sybase Liquidity Management Suite (LMS), providing the global financial services industry with new modules enabling native support for Sybase's relational database management system and analytics platform. Sybase LMS consolidates payment and transaction information in real-time, across multiple systems, to provide a comprehensive enterprise-wide capability for managing operational liquidity, supporting optimal use of operating capital while minimizing operation risk.
White Sands Technology, a provider of multi-platform database tools headquartered in Canoga Park, Calif. with offices located in the UK and Finland, has announced the upcoming release of three ProActive DBA products for Sybase Replication Server DBAs. General release of these new products will be in Q1 2011. The three products include ProActive DBA TimeLine 24x7, ProActive DBA SQL Capture for Sybase RepServer, and ProActive DBA Login Capture for Sybase RepServer.
