BackOffice Associates is acquiring data archiving intellectual property focused on SAP software from Proceed Engineering Solutions, strengthening its commitment to SAP. This acquisition complements BackOffice's dspArchive application, giving the platform the ability to analyze, simulate, and execute complex and complete archiving activities for the SAP ERP application and SAP S/4HANA.
SAP SE is unveiling a new platform that will help organizations enrich business applications with geographic data from geographic information systems. "We have an entire portfolio of spatial solutions to our customers across a variety of industries," said said Marie Goodell, head of marketing of the SAP HANA Platform at SAP.

According to a report from SAP, SAP Jam has reached a new milestone, growing from 20 million subscribers in mid-2015 to 34 million subscribers currently -- an increase of 70 percent in less than 12 months. SAP Jam delivers collaboration in the workplace connecting customers, partners, and colleagues with the experts, business insight, process, and content to transform how they engage and work every day.
TriCore Solutions, an application management solution provider and an SAP-certified cloud hosting and SAP HANA managed service provider, is continuing its commitment to SAP by acquiring an SAP certified channel partner. By acquiring G3G, Inc., TriCore's customers will now have end-to-end SAP solution at their fingertips and the transaction with G3G, Inc. will more than double the size of TriCore's SAP practice.

By the mid-2000s, a huge number of web apps were built upon the so-called LAMP stack. LAMP applications utilize the Linux operating system, Apache web server and MySQL database server, and implement application logic in PHP or another language starting with the letter "P," such as Python or Perl.
