Expanding its range of data replication offerings for heterogeneous IT environments, Attunity Ltd. has acquired Hayes Technology Group, a provider of data replication software solutions targeted at the SAP space. Hayes will provide new synergies and cross-sell opportunities to Attunity, said Lawrence Schwartz, Attunity's vice president of marketing.
ISUG-TECH, the technical user group for SAP products, has published the conference tracks and sessions for the upcoming ISUG-TECH 2014 conference which will be held April 14-17 at the Hilton Atlanta in Atlanta, Georgia, and sponsored by SAP. In addition to the main conference tracks, there also will be six pre-conference and three post-conference workshops providing deeper technical dives.
Former SAP principal solution engineer Lou Stanton has joined Bradmark Technologies after a short-term retirement as a senior technical consultant. Previously, with Sybase, Stanton authored much of the material used in SAP IQ internal documentation and mentored the field sales organization in sales presentation as well as conducted technical proof of concepts for sales opportunities.
To engage customers who increasingly use mobile devices to research products, compare prices, and get recommendations, SAP has introduced SAP Shopper Experience, a personalized retail mobile app that includes social media sharing, loyalty programs, and a self-payment system for shoppers.
