OpenText, a company specializing in enterprise information management, is partnering with SAP SE to provide B2B managed services and capabilities to multinational enterprises. Together with Ariba, an SAP company, OpenText will provide customers with a solution that enables them to improve time to revenue, reduce costs, and help to advance the digital transformation that today's leaders are undertaking, according to OpenText.
Highlighting its commitment and renewed focus of customer user experience, SAP recently conducted an app development competition. The challenge of developing SAP Fiori apps on the openSAP platform inspired thousands of participants to work within the context of their individual experiences to build for their own use cases, according to SAP.
SAP SE is offering an on-premise 30-day trial edition for SAP Business Suite 4 SAP HANA. The trial edition spans end-to-end digitized business processes in finance, procurement, sales, and manufacturing.
SGI, a provider of high performance solutions for compute, data analytics and data management, announced that its SGI UV 300H is now certified to run the SAP HANA platform in controlled availability at 20-sockets - delivering up to 15 terabytes (TB) of in-memory computing capacity in a single node. Being integrated with the recently announced SAP HANA SPS10, the SGI UV 300H capitalizes on deep collaboration between SAP, Intel, and SGI to optimize SAP HANA-based workloads on multicore NUMA (non-uniform memory access) systems.
SUSE has announced that SUSE Linux Enterprise Server for SAP Applications is now available to support IBM Power Systems running the SAP HANA platform. SUSE Linux Enterprise Server will allow customers to take advantage of IBM's recently introduced series of Power Systems Solution Editions for SAP HANA.

SAP SE announced that independent analyst firm Gartner Inc. has positioned the company as a leader in the "Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools 2015" report. The evaluation marks the company's eighth consecutive year as a leader in the Magic Quadrant for Data Integration Tools.
