DBmaestro, a database DevOps solution provider, has expanded its database automation platform to enable CI/CD and release automation for MySQL, MariaDB, and Amazon RDS with DBmaestro DevOps Platform v2019.4. The new support for these databases adds to DBmaestro's current support for Oracle, MS-SQL, DB2, and PostgreSQL databases. According to the company more customers, global financial organizations as well as SMEs, are adopting MySQL and MariaDB databases due to their being a premier choice for web-based applications.
SolarWinds, provider of IT management software, has announced updates across its IT Operations Management offerings, including the Orion Platform suite of products, and its application performance management suite. The enhancements extend SolarWinds support for organizations investing in Microsoft Azure, and offer technology professionals the ability to monitor, manage, and secure hybrid IT operations. Included are new database performance analysis and recommendations for Azure SQL Database Managed Instances and support for the latest versions of popular databases including Oracle 19, MySQL 8, SQL Server 2019, and MariaDB 10.
