Normally, for this column, I would write a technical article or something on leadership. However, recently, I have been dealing with some career choices and I thought it might be interesting to write about my decision-making process. Most of us have had at least one job change. What do you do when you are trying to figure it out? Do you talk to others? Do you think it to death? Is it just a flip of a coin? Below I'm going to highlight my process.
A new Oracle study reveals that enterprises view in-application communications technologies as critical to enhancing customer experiences and gaining a competitive edge and higher growth. While 65% of enterprise IT decision makers polled noted that embedded communications will become the dominant way of communicating with employees, suppliers and customers moving forward, nearly half (46%) noted they lack the expertise to deploy new communications technologies.
At the recent OpenWorld conference, Oracle announced the next-generation Oracle Exadata X7 with hardware and software enhancements in overall performance, storage capacity, network bandwidth, and automation. Exadata can be deployed on-premises, in Oracle Cloud, or using Oracle's Cloud at Customer.
