To help simplify solution implementation, increase productivity and accelerate time to value with Oracle engineered systems for clients, Accenture is acquiring Enkitec, an Oracle Platinum partner specializing in Oracle Exadata implementations and Oracle database administration and development.
Oracle Tuxedo 12c, an application server for the deployment of C/C++/COBOL/Java enterprise workloads in private and public cloud environments, has added improvements for better reliability, availability, performance and scalability for conventional and enterprise cloud applications.
Oracle has agreed to acquire GreenBytes, a provider of ZFS technology founded in 2007 with domain expertise in deduplication, replication, and virtualization. Oracle said that GreenBytes' technology complements its own storage solutions and is expected to enhance Oracle's ZFS Storage Appliances. The transaction is expected to close in the first half of 2014.
