News Flashes
To help companies support their complete quote-to-cash process in the Cloud, Oracle has expanded the Oracle Supply Chain Management Cloud with the addition of two new products, Oracle Order Management Cloud and Oracle Global Order Promising Cloud.
New additions to the Oracle Cloud Platform were introduced in June. A critical piece of the updated suite, according to Amit Zavery, senior vice president of Cloud Platform at Oracle, is the Oracle Integration Cloud Service, which aims to simplify integration between cloud and on-premises Oracle and third-party applications.
Oracle has taken the wraps off Oracle VM VirtualBox 5.0, the latest release of the free and open source, cross-platform virtualization software. Now generally available, Oracle VM VirtualBox runs on standard x86 desktop and laptop computers, and enables developers and users to create cloud and local applications without the overhead of using a full server environment.
