Oracle and Pluribus Networks have formed a technology access agreement. The arrangement is intended to offer customers the ability to use OpenStack plug-ins to manage their cloud environments based on Oracle Solaris and Pluribus Networks' Netvisor. This builds on the newly completed certification of Oracle Solaris 11 on Pluribus Networks' Freedom series Server-Switch platform, which is already allowing customers to take advantage of the unique performance, scalability, efficiency and security advantages of Oracle Solaris in their network infrastructure.
To help organizations take advantage of integrated financial planning and budgeting quickly and cost-effectively, Oracle has released its first enterprise performance management (EPM) solution offered in the cloud - Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service. The new service provides pre-built starter kits, intuitive application creation wizards, best practice design guides, interactive online help/tutorials, and migration tools to help organizations accelerate time-to-value.
