Quest Software, a global systems management, data protection, and security software provider, announced the general availability of a reimagined KACE Cloud platform to transform endpoint management with automated patching for all devices in the cloud. Available now, this pioneering capability offers businesses an all-in-one solution beyond conventional patching with over 10,000 patches to over 350 third-party applications, including Adobe, Cisco, Google Chrome, and Slack.
Oracle and Uber Technologies, Inc., are forming a seven-year strategic cloud partnership to accelerate Uber's innovation, help deliver new products to market, and drive increased profitability. As Uber continues to grow and enter new markets, it is increasingly important for the business to focus resources on its core strengths and strategic initiatives. By migrating some of the company's most critical workloads to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI), Uber will be in a position to modernize its infrastructure while also accelerating its path to profitability, according to the vendors.
Oracle is introducing a new Oracle Utilities Network Management System feature to help utilities navigate the fast-evolving energy grid and rapidly expanding distributed energy resources (DERs). New automated grid management and built-in AI will enable utilities to better orchestrate and control DER and grid-edge devices, boost network visibility with real-time insights, and provide a unified user experience across multiple platforms, according to Oracle.
