Flexential, a provider of data center colocation, cloud and connectivity, and a member of Oracle PartnerNetwork (OPN), announced it will offer connectivity to Oracle Cloud through Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect. Flexential is expanding its Cloud Fabric ecosystem by offering low latency interconnection options to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This can allow customers in any Flexential data center across its national FlexAnywhere platform to connect to OCI, according to the vendor.
Oracle is expanding its partnership with NVIDIA to include running strategic NVIDIA AI applications on the new Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) Supercluster. NVIDIA has selected OCI as the first hyperscale cloud provider to offer NVIDIA DGX Cloud, an AI supercomputing service, at massive scale. In addition, NVIDIA is running NVIDIA AI Foundations, its new generative AI cloud services, which are available through DGX Cloud, on OCI.
Oracle is releasing Java 20, the latest version of the programming language and development platform, delivering thousands of performance, stability, and security improvements, including platform enhancements that will help developers improve productivity and drive innovation and growth across their organizations.
