Backblaze is entering a new partnership with Vultr—a privately-owned, global hyperscale cloud—to serve developers and businesses with infrastructure as a service that's easier to use. With the Backblaze + Vultr combination, developers now have the ability to connect data stored in Backblaze B2 with virtualized cloud compute and bare metal resources in Vultr—providing a compelling alternative to Amazon S3 and EC2, according to the vendors.
Databricks, the Data and AI company, announced it received $1.6 Billion in a new round of funding to accelerate innovation and adoption of the data lakehouse. Driven by open standards, cloud adoption and the continued rise of machine learning applications, the company intends to build on its lead by investing in innovations that further simplify AI, preserve choice and flexibility across all major public clouds, and establish the lakehouse as a modern replacement to the legacy data warehouse.
C3 AI and Google Cloud have announced a partnership to help organizations across multiple industries accelerate their application of AI solutions. "Combining the innovation, leadership, scale, and go-to-market expertise of Google Cloud with the substantial business value delivered from C3 AI applications, this partnership will dramatically accelerate the adoption of enterprise AI applications across all industry segments," said Thomas M.
