Baffle, Inc., a developer of a database encryption solution, is launching a comprehensive data protection service that enables cloud applications running in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Marketplace and Microsoft's Azure Marketplace to operate on encrypted data. The platform, BaffleManager, enables secure compute for cloud applications while delivering dynamic access control and enhanced data access monitoring. 

Built.io Flow, an integration-as-a-service (iPaaS) platform that unifies and automates disparate IT systems and cloud applications integrations through APIs, and Zilkr are partnering to offer a new integrated platform for telecommunications clouds. Together Built.io Flow and Zilkr extend workflow innovation by bringing telecommunication services and enterprise application products into integrated, automated business processes.

Percona has introduced version 1.5 of its free and open source platform for managing and monitoring MySQL and MongoDB performance. This new release improves support for MySQL on Amazon Relational Database Service (Amazon RDS) and Amazon Aurora, which simplifies configuration and usage, provides more efficient data collection and delivers faster resolution of Percona Support tickets.

Redgate has upgraded its Source Control for Oracle tool so that it version-controls static data within databases as well as database schemas.

TimeXtender, a recognized global software company enabling self-service BI and analytics, is upgrading its Discovery Hub platform, adding a shared semantic layer that enables users to use the same language across platforms. The update also provides different perspectives—grouping together related data for area-specific purposes, for example, finance, sales, marketing, or cross-business analytics.
