Adalo, a no-code builder that allows anyone to create mobile and web apps, announced it has raised $8 million in Series A financing round, allowing the company to expand into fully-responsive web apps as well as to extend their marketplace beyond 3rd party components to include templates and integrations.

Alteryx, provider of a platform for end-to-end analytics process automation, has announced a series of new innovations in analytics and data science automation, analytics in the cloud, machine learning (ML), and AI. The new products are focused squarely on delivering a simple user experience with a no-code, low-code approach to accelerate business outcomes for all organizations and anyone who wants to upskill, said Suresh Vittal, chief product officer of Alteryx.

Kentik, the network observability company, is unveiling Kentik Cloud, a new product suite for public cloud environments that gives enterprise customers increased visibility, improves performance, and better cost control. As part of the Kentik platform, Kentik Cloud fuses traffic and telemetry data with business, security, internet, and cloud metadata.

At the recent Percona Live Online Open Source Database Conference 2021, Percona showcased its open source database as a service (DBaaS). As an alternative to public cloud and large enterprise database vendor DBaaS offerings, this on-demand self-service option provides users with a way to deploy databases quickly. Plus, the company says, using Percona Kubernetes Operators means it is possible to configure a database once, and deploy it anywhere.
