Cambridge Technology Enterprises, a provider of IT services focused on the convergence of big data and cloud, has achieved Gold Partner status in Oracle Partner Network (OPN). The company, which has multiple locations in North America, with offshore development offices in Hyderabad and Bangalore, India, offers an end to end approach in designing and implementing enterprise IT strategies leveraging the cloud where it is possible and necessary.
Datameer, an end-to-end big data analytics vendor, is partnering with Tableau to enable their mutual customers to move between platforms to analyze and visualize data. This one-click-bridge between solutions will allow customers to leverage Hadoop to integrate, prepare, and analyze all of their structured and unstructured data in Datameer and, when needed, automatically export it to either Tableau Desktop or Tableau Server to augment their traditional reporting and visual discovery capabilities on highly aggregated, structured data.
ScaleArc, a provider of database load balancing software, has announced support for automatic cache invalidation, providing a transparent ACID-compliant caching mechanism for dynamic data. The ScaleArc software tracks data changes to invalidate a cache entry, ensuring that outdated data is not served for Oracle and MySQL, as well as SQL Server database environments.
Talend has introduced a new solution called Talend Integration Cloud to provide instant, elastic and secure capacity so IT teams can more easily shift workloads between on-premise and cloud environments. Targeted at SMBs, large enterprises, and IT integration developers, and planned for availability in April, the hosted cloud integration platform will provide a single solution for bulk, batch and real-time data integration across hundreds of data sources including Hadoop, Amazon Redshift and NoSQL databases, said Ashley Stirrup, chief marketing officer for Talend.
