Melissa Data, a provider of contact data quality and integration solutions, has been awarded patent #9,262,475 by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for proximity matching technology used in its global data quality tools and services. The patent features an algorithm enabling distance criteria to be used in matching customer records, capitalizing on latitude, longitude, and proximity thresholds to help data managers eliminate duplicate customer contact data.
Available now, Talend says its Integration Cloud Spring '16 release adds enhancements to help IT organizations execute big data and data integration projects running on AWS Redshift or AWS Elastic MapReduce (EMR) with greater ease - using fewer resources, and at a reduced cost.
