Morpheus Data, the hybrid cloud application orchestration company, is releasing a significant update of its platform, aiming to help enterprise customers streamline the transition to containers and simplify the adoption of infrastructure-as-code. "It has become virtually impossible for IT teams to manage an increasingly complex set of cloud services, container platforms, and automation tools," said Brad Parks, chief marketing officer at Morpheus Data. "Customers are flocking to Morpheus because we eliminate technology silos and bring order to cloud, container, and automation chaos."
Oracle is providing tools, solutions, and support to fuel Arm-based application development. Oracle also announced that its first Arm-based compute offering, OCI Ampere A1 Compute, is available on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). "We see increasing demand for server-side Arm computing and adding Arm-based compute instances to our extensive portfolio of offerings enables customers to pick and choose the right processors for their workloads," said Clay Magouyrk, executive vice president, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
SolarWinds has expanded its database performance management portfolio with the launch of SolarWinds Database Insights for SQL Server. Uniting the features and functionality of the SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer (DPA) and SolarWinds SQL Sentry (formerly the flagship product of SentryOne) into a new, single licensed product, Database Insights for SQL Server provides the in-depth performance and environmental data that teams need to optimize the performance of Microsoft SQL Server and other leading database platforms running on-premises, in the cloud, or in hybrid environments.
Based on PostgreSQL 13.3, Postgres Pro Enterprise 13 includes the new features introduced in PostgreSQL 13, as well as key Postgres Professional additions, such as hot minor upgrades, storage-level compression, and 64-bit transaction identifiers.
