Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) is launching GreenLake Central, an edge-to-cloud portfolio as-a-service that provides customers with a consistent cloud experience for all their applications and data. Building on the momentum of HPE GreenLake, HPE's IT as-a-Service offering, HPE GreenLake Central gives customers a simple, unified, digital experience across public and private clouds, the data center and edge workloads.
KALEAO is rebranding itself as Bamboo Systems, a provider of transformative ARM server architecture designed to power the next generation of sustainable data centers. In addition to the rebrand, the company has closed a $4.5 million pre-Series A funding round led by Seraphim Capital. The new funding will be used to bring to market the only server designed to give hyperscale performance with ten times the density of today's Intel-based servers.
Oracle has announced that Oracle Cloud has joined the IO500. "Our HPC file server solution opens up tremendous opportunities for manufacturing, energy, and other R&D-heavy customers," said Vinay Kumar, vice president, product management, Oracle Cloud Infrastructure. "Customers can tackle their toughest workloads at some of the best price-performance ratios in the market."
