BMC, a global leader in software solutions for the Autonomous Digital Enterprise, is introducing a variety of new innovations and integrations within the BMC Automated Mainframe Intelligence (BMC AMI) and BMC Compuware portfolios. These additions are designed to improve threat detection and response and expand access to mainstream DevOps tools to modernize mainframe applications and increase developer productivity.
IBM is introducing a new solution that simplifies the integration, scaling, and acceleration of complex multi-step analytics and machine learning pipelines on the hybrid multi-cloud. Dubbed CodeFlare, the platform is an open source framework for simplifying the integration and efficient scaling of big data and AI workflows onto the hybrid cloud built on top of Ray, an emerging open source distributed computing framework for machine learning applications. CodeFlare extends the capabilities of Ray by adding specific elements to make scaling workflows easier.
Kyndryl, the independent public company that will be created following the separation of IBM's Managed Infrastructure Services business, has announced its set-up to bring its mission-critical technical expertise to a broader set of core digital technology environments. Plans are on track for the spin-off to be completed by the end of the year, IBM said.
