Quest International Users Group supports JD Edwards, PeopleSoft, Fusion, and many other Oracle edge application customers—products important to the success for many companies in today’s ERP environment.
As a user group comprised of 55,000 members in 95 countries, Quest members cover multiple industries, cross numerous product lines, and work with a variety of product upgrade versions. And for each, Quest works to understand the specific issues facing members, such as:
• Product implementation and usage issues
• Product integration challenges—across business units and departments
• Product upgrades and enhancement opportunities
By first understanding the needs and issues facing members, Quest can identify the solutions that meet those needs and then share them with members.
Quest Member Resources
Members capture the solutions they need by engaging in the various educational and networking opportunities available to them with Quest: from our topical Weekly Download newsletter and quarterly Q&A magazine, to the special interest groups (SIGs) and regional user groups (RUGs) comprising over 4,000 members, to the integral face-to-face events (COLLABORATE, INFOCUS and RECONNECT) where members come together in education sessions, and networking events to acquire and share knowledge.
Add to all of this, a vibrant website offering online access to conference sessions, an online learning series, and Info Centers with vetted content surrounding HCM, Finance, Technology and Upgrades, as well as forums, a solution and service provider directory, and access to the Quest Product Enhancement Tool. With this breadth of resources available, members have a variety of ways to engage.
Engagement = Knowledge
Members engage at their own pace as they move through the Engagement Pathway—from “Good,” to “Better,” and finally to “Best.” At each stage, they increase their knowledge base, networking, and ability to find the solutions that will help them in their day-to-day efforts.
The more the community is engaged, the higher the quality—and quantity—of services available for the members.
Membership, Satisfaction, and Significant Savings
Oracle research identified that user group members have a 10% higher product satisfaction rate than those not associated with a user group. This satisfaction translates into higher product acceptance levels, higher integration rates and faster identification and delivery of solutions to product issues—all of which translates into hours (and revenue) saved.
Quest members mirrored that result, reporting that participation in the Quest User Group literally saves them time. A recent research survey indicated that engaged members can save up to 15% in their technology hours (through product implementation and optimization, team efficiency, and productivity improvements)—the higher the level of engagement, the more knowledge captured and the higher the savings.
