As 2015 wraps up, it’s fair to say that this was a year in which information technology – and the people who build and sustain it – once again proved invaluable to today’s enterprises. The mainframe continued to expand its role as the workhorse of the enterprise – and continued to be IBM’s best-selling platform.
Data centers continued their advance to be more “software-defined,” while more tightly integrating cloud and on-premises resources to move their organizations into the digital age.
