Google, which probably runs the largest data centers on the planet, reportedly is employing machine learning – or artificial intelligence – to better run its IT infrastructure. This includes use of a neural network designed to analyze big data being generated by its servers and make recommendations. This is a major pursuit toward data center automation. However, at the same time, Google insists that it will always need humans to review activities within its data centers.
