The second part of the webinar will feature a preview of Big Data education at COLLABORATE 14 from past IOUG President Ian Abramson entitled "Big Data – Getting Started and Making an Impact."
The key to enabling Big Data is the choices which you make right up front and understanding where you need to go. Creating a robust data ecosystem today requires you to make new and complex choices and this session looks at how one company begin using Big Data to make an impact on their business.
This session will provide a real world review of a Big Data implementation. We will discuss the choices which need to be made as the organization embarked on their Big Data initiative.
We will look at the different Big Data frameworks and will consider the tools which were used within the solution. The session will also work through various use cases which show how Big Data and the choices we make can help you drive value. It provides a complete picture of how things fit together as well as help the attendees to make the decisions which will form the foundation of their big data solutions.
