Are you interested in joining a committee that is both fun and rewarding? If so, the IOUG Conference Committee is the place for you. You will become part of a team working together to provide users with high quality education at COLLABORATE 12-IOUG Forum which takes place April 22-26, 2012 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. In order to volunteer, you must be a paid IOUG member and must plan on attending the conference.
The goal is to ensure the content presented at COLLABORATE is relevant, technically accurate and top-notch. We need you as subject matter experts for the following positions:
. Lead Track Manager - manages a specific track from start to finish. The high-level responsibilities include outlining key content to be covered in track, soliciting specific speakers to ensure coverage, rating abstract submissions, managing review team, reviewing papers/presentations, etc. Lead Track Managers are eligible for complimentary COLLABORATE registration as well as two nights hotel if they are presenting at the conference along with an appreciation gift.
. Track Reviewers - works directly with Lead Track Manager to review abstract submissions, papers and presentations. Track reviewers are eligible for 50% off early-bird conference registration along with an appreciation gift.
. New Speaker Mentor - assists new speakers with presentation skills, provides feedback via e-mail and presents new speaker orientation webinar along with selects the content to be delivered in the Professional Development track. The New Speaker Mentor must present at COLLABORATE on Monday and is eligible for complimentary COLLABORATE registration along with an appreciation gift.
