IOUG EM SIG Webinars and Presentations Showcase EM Enhancements By Kimberly Floss, Senior Database Manager
It’s certainly been a busy time at the IOUG EM SIG. In case you missed the August webinar, it was an exciting one given by Edward Whalen of Performance Tuning Corporation, with an overview of his experiences with Oracle 12c. Below we’ve highlighted our interview with Edward as well. And, certainly, webinars are recorded, so if you missed it, feel free to listen at your leisure.
Our October webinar will be just as exciting, as Tariq Farooq plans to present “Performance Tuning your DB Cloud in Oracle EM 12c Cloud Control
—360 Degrees.” Since we are all looking to do ‘more with less,’ finding more efficient ways to troubleshoot issues is important to everyone. And EM 12c is just the vehicle to get you there. There will be a number of terrific sessions at Oracle OpenWorld as well on use of 12c and EM in particular. For those who can’t make it, no worries. We’ll seek to bring you some of the top sessions via our bi-monthly webinars, like Tariq’s, so you can keep up to date on new enhancements and how others are implementing the technology to help keep their databases performing optimally. But if you are able to make it to San Francisco, please stop by the IOUG booth Group Pavilion, Moscone West, Level 2, Overlook 2A, to pick up your EM 12c tip booklet, drop your business card in for a raffle, and see what other exciting things are happening within the group. The tip booklet is full of handy tidbits of information to make your work easier, and help you take advantage of shared knowledge from your peers. And, don’t forget, the call for proposals to present at COLLABORATE 14 is open now
—but only until Oct 4, 2013!
