DuploCloud, the DevOps automation with built-in compliance company, is announcing the general availability of its on-prem solution that improves Kubernetes implementation for mid-market and enterprise organizations. These enhancements involve developer self-service with no-code/low-code automation, integrated diagnostics, metrics and alerts, hybrid cloud integration, and built-in security controls.
With extensive experience in managing Kubernetes clusters in the cloud at scale, DuploCloud is bringing its platform to on-prem systems, enabling users to access a variety of advantages that companies operating in the cloud leverage.
This on-prem iteration of DuploCloud’s solution streamlines developer operations with a low-code/no-code implementation, reducing Infrastructure-as-a-Code by a factor of 10, according to the vendor. Built on top of Kubernetes, the solution points its attention toward containerized workloads with plans to integrate with on-prem compute, networking, and storage vendors.
Multi-tenancy is provided by default, with two fundamental constructs—infrastructure and tenant. The infrastructure, existing as a Kubernetes cluster in the on-prem environment, contains a cluster name, K8S API endpoint, and a token. The tenant acts as an isolated environment and sandbox, according to the vendor.
In terms of security, DuploCloud’s on-prem offering is deeply integrated into the native PaaS and security services of cloud providers. Focused on security best practices, the solution meets several compliance standards, including SOC 2, PCI, HIPAA, NIST, and more.
