Taking a Look Back at SHARE® Providence
On August 6-11, more than 1,200 enterprise IT professionals gathered in Providence for six days of 500+ unique technical education sessions and plenty of networking with colleagues at festive events. What made SHARE Providence extra special; however, was the excitement around IBM’s recent unveiling of the new Z mainframe and, attendees were treated to a special message from IBM Chairman, President and CEO Ginni Rometty. With technical sessions that highlighted IBM’s newest technologies such as pervasive encryption, IBM z14, z/OS 2.3 and more, SHARE Providence was the place for all things IBM Z®.
