Returning to their roots, Radixx International migrates back to the mainframe after the introduction of z13. Radixx CEO Ron Peri saw z13 as an opportunity to streamline his company’s IT and meet the demand for high availability.
"It was an opportunity to greatly simplify and streamline IT," Peri told Baseline. "Instead of having to make sure that a wide array of components would work together seamlessly, it offered a closed system with a much higher level of security."
Being able to ditch the hundreds of physical machines that Radixx was operating by migrating to z13 not only simplifies the company’s IT, but also saves them money – an expected 40 percent.
