Mark is a Vice President of Application Delivery at Global Payments leading teams in the Application Delivery area focused on Customer Portal, external/internal reporting and analytics, and Data as a Service Interfaces to our Customers.  Mark has worked with data analytics, business intelligence, data warehousing, data lakes, and application development for his 25+ year career.

Mark graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Nebraska and continued on to receive a Master in Business Administration from Washington University in St. Louis Missouri.

Mark has been managing teams of onshore and offshore resources since 2000.  These teams have included application development, data quality, data modeling/architecture, database administrators, web/portal development, and business intelligence.

Mark started his career at McDonnell Douglas as a Flight Test Engineer continuing on to Ernst & Young, Discover Financial Services, AIG, Towers Perrin, and Global Payments.  These stops have gained him experience in the Aerospace, Management Consulting, Risk, Insurance, and Credit Card processing industries with 18+ years in the credit card/payments industry.

 

Mark has built multiple Data Warehouses and analytical environments in his career.  These systems supply information to multiple customers including Fraud, Sales, Marketing, Risk, Product, Finance, and Operations areas to name a few.
