The rebranding and latest funding round propels StackGen to continue its journey toward transforming infrastructure from code, focusing on empowering developer workflows while helping them adapt to the latest in AI innovations.
According to Gartner’s Hype Cycle for Platform Engineering 2024 report, “the plethora of cloud infrastructure services across multiple cloud providers makes it difficult for platform engineers and developers to manage infrastructure change at the same pace as application code. Therefore, much like software engineers are productive working with higher-level abstractions using object-oriented programming languages with reusable modules, platform engineers seek similar benefits for improving their productivity and simplifying infrastructure delivery.”

The company’s latest rebrand as StackGen reflects its commitment to delivering holistic infrastructure solutions that apply across organizations’ tech stacks, according to the company.
