Triton Consulting, the independent data management and digital transformation service provider, announced the addition of ZMARS to its portfolio of client services.
Z Mainframe Availability and Resiliency Service (ZMARS), Triton Consulting’s newly launched service, ensures the Db2 for z/OS environment stays resilient, recovers fast, and performs at its best, according to the vendor.
It begins with a thorough, customer-specific technical examination to uncover potential vulnerabilities in the Db2 for z/OS environment. By focusing on a client’s unique infrastructure and requirements, the company ensures systems are optimized for resilience and availability.
“This service has been in development for several years, involving extensive planning and market research. I'm therefore delighted to announce its launch, appropriately at a time when DORA is coming into force to tighten up the resilience requirements for financial institutions. Our goal is to provide customized solutions that improve system performance, speed up recovery times, and make your system more robust. Ultimately, we want to ensure your Db2 for z/OS system functions as effectively and reliably as possible for your business,” said Gareth Copplestone-Jones, head of infrastructure services, Triton Consulting.
The ZMARS service consists of multiple modules, giving users the flexibility to choose which ones to include or prioritize based on specific needs such as system recovery, performance enhancements, software maintenance or another area, or decide to choose a full study with all the modules.
John Campbell, retired IBM Distinguished Engineer and former leader of the IBM Db2 for z/OS SWAT team will lead the Triton ZMARS studies. John has worked with Db2 for z/OS for over 40 years and has extensive experience in systems, databases, and application design.
Features include:
