Syntax Systems, a provider of cloud-managed ERP services has acquired EmeraldCube Solutions, an Atlanta-based company providing business technology solutions to JD Edwards customers.
Syntax is a portfolio company of Novacap TMT IV, a Montreal-based private equity firm, which also provided the equity financing for the transaction.
This acquisition extends Syntax's capabilities by adding EmeraldCube's software solutions such as EmeraldPrism, EnCrypto, FraudID, and EmeraldVision.
With the addition of EmeraldCloud, an end-to-end business application deployment and management platform based on Amazon Web Services' (AWS) public cloud, Syntax says it is now better positioned to help its customers and prospects with their journey to the public, private, and hybrid cloud.
Syntax delivers security and automation for JD Edwards clients, whether hosted on AWS or on Syntax's enterprise private cloud. This acquisition enhances its offerings, which include 24/7 managed services for the Syntax enterprise private and public cloud and end-to-end application support of JD Edwards.
“We wanted to help our customers with their journey to the cloud while increasing our capabilities for the JD Edwards and Oracle ecosystem in general. We are very excited to join forces with EmeraldCube Solutions," said Christian Primeau, CEO of Syntax. "They understand the importance of innovation that contributes to customers' success and have an extensive history with a public cloud offering. We will benefit from their expertise and vast pool of talent."
