Ideal Business Services Ltd., an international developer of custom software for intermodal, container logistics, warehousing, shipping ports and airports, has completed the development of a computerized warehouse management system for the Government of Saint Lucia Ministry of Commerce, Business Development, Investment and Consumer Affairs.
The new supply warehouse management system is an internet-based system, with users accessing it via a web browser. As with several other custom software solutions, Ideal developed the new system using mv.NET from BlueFinity International - a suite of components designed to provide the MultiValue developer with a comprehensive solution to the challenge of creating Microsoft .NET based applications requiring access to MultiValue databases
The project was managed by Paul Parkinson, Ideal’s director in the Caribbean. “Like all Ideal software solutions, the new supply warehouse management system has been developed to the client’s exact requirements. We spent time finding out how they operate and then worked with them to produce a computer system that replaces virtually all manual operations within the facility,” said Parkinson.
