Today, organizations must deliver new applications, as well as application updates and patches, at a faster rate than ever before. DevOps principles address this challenge by focusing on a combination of tools, processes, and collaboration among development and operations teams to enable more agile and integrated workflows for development, test, and deployment.
It sounds great. The problem is that this streamlined approach often does not incorporate the database.
To highlight organizations that are leading the charge in bringing DevOps to the database world, DBTA and Big Data Quarterly have announced the second annual Database DevOps Innovation Awards contest.
We’re looking for examples of how companies have enabled their teams to work with greater collaboration and agility in improving the coordination of application delivery and database change management through new technologies, practices, and processes.
By sharing your story, your company will have the chance to be among five winners selected by our special committee to be featured in a special, in-depth article published in Database Trends and Applications magazine and on www.dbta.com.
Please respond with a complete nomination by April 2, 2021.
