ScaleOut Software, the developer of leading-edge software that delivers scalable, highly available, in-memory computing and streaming analytics technologies to a wide range of industries, is launching Version 3 of its ScaleOut Digital Twins cloud service and on-prem hosting platform. The updated solution now features a new user interface (UI) that eases digital twin deployment and management, as well as advanced functionality for large-scale digital twin simulation and an integration with Amazon Dynamo DB.
The ScaleOut Digital Twins platform utilizes highly scalable, in-memory computing to host a vast quantity of digital twins that monitor live data and enable real-time analytics. With ScaleOut’s latest release of the solution, enterprises benefit from increased ease and innovative capabilities that support massive scale and in-depth app testing, according to the company.
“With the unveiling of ScaleOut Digital Twins, Version 3, we're thrilled to introduce significant enhancements to our digital twin development and hosting platform,” declared Dr. William Bain, CEO and founder of ScaleOut Software. “As we collaborate with our clients to explore novel applications for digital twins within large-scale systems, we continue to uncover new ways to harness the combined power of digital twins and in-memory computing.”
ScaleOut Digital Twins’ new UI adjusts the organization of information, driving increased comprehension of digital twin models while also easing the management of app deployment. The latest UI makes navigation more intuitive, allowing enterprises to easily locate key functions and surface system statistics.
Additionally, the ScaleOut Digital Twins UI serves to simplify the generation of aggregate statistics that track large populations of digital twins and visualize live results, according to the company. This is further paired with continuous tabular queries and automatic query storage.
Application designers now benefit from the ability to create recordings of incoming real-time messages, replayable during digital twin simulations and transferable to SQL Server. These recordings ultimately allow app designers to refine and test their analytics for real-time monitoring, as well as support simulations for predictive modeling, according to the company.
Finally, ScaleOut’s updated platform enables users to connect digital twins to open-source Kafka running on-prem or Azure Kafka running in the cloud. The platform now also supports persisting digital twins to AWS Dynamo DB, joining pre-existing persists to SQL Server and Azure Digital Twins.
