SEEBURGER announced that its SEEBURGER Purchase-to-Pay 6.3.5 solution has achieved SAP certification as powered by the SAP NetWeaver technology platform. The SAP Integration and Certification Center (SAP ICC) has certified that SEEBURGER Purchase-to-Pay 6.3.5 integrates with SAP NetWeaver 7.01 as an add-on to the ABAP programming language for use with the SAP ERP application.
The SEEBURGER solution has been used to integrate internal and external communications channels (e.g., paper, fax, email with PDF, including XML and EDI/EDIFACT) involved in the purchase-to-pay process with the SAP ERP application.
SEEBURGER is offering customers an opportunity to test drive SEEBURGER Purchase-to-Pay 6.3.5 at no charge prior to purchase, allowing them to try out electronic invoicing using SAP solutions.
“We are delighted to announce the successful achievement of SAP certification for the SEEBURGER Purchase-to-Pay 6.3.5 solution,” said Bernd Seeburger, CEO of SEEBURGER, Inc. “The ability of SEEBURGER Purchase-to-Pay 6.3.5 to leverage the business potential of assets provided by solutions from SAP and other vendors will prove highly beneficial to current and future customer engagements.”
According to SEEBURGER, because of very complex approval processes, generic workflow can play a key role in document approval and the management of communications between parties. Workflows dictate the entire invoicing process, from invoice receipt, through accounting and payment, to archiving. In conjunction with mobile end devices, automatic workflows can speed up the invoicing process. In the case of the purchase-to-pay process, for example, SEEBURGER says companies can exploit any potential for process improvements and achieve cash discounts by optimizing invoicing performance.
