Rubrik, the Zero Trust Data Security Company, is announcing that its Rubrik Cyber Recovery solution is available for Nutanix AHV, a modern and secure virtualization platform that powers virtual machines (VMs) and containers for applications and cloud-native workloads on-premises and in public clouds.
Rubrik Cyber Recovery is a series of capabilities that allows administrators to create, test, and validate cyber recovery plans in isolated recovery environments—aka, “clean rooms.” This is particularly relevant to securing today's data estates, as, according to the latest Rubrik Zero Labs report, 83% of all organizations' encrypted data observed by Rubrik is within a virtualized architecture—such as those offered by Nutanix.
Adding onto Nutanix’s inherently secure design, Rubrik Cyber Recovery offers a “defense in depth” approach that delivers holistic protection at multiple architectural layers. Users can create pre-defined recovery plans, as well as automate recovery validation and testing, so that in the event of failure, recovery takes place in the order and configuration designated by the administrator.

Rubrik Cyber Recovery offers the ability to identify clean point-in-time snapshots using Rubrik data threat analytics, reducing the time it takes to restore business operations in the event of failure. Additionally, Rubrik data threat analytics serve to expedite forensic investigations with deep visibility into suspicious activity, reducing the time it takes to determine the best recovery point. Out-of-band management further serves to rapidly instantiate data and systems into clean rooms with ease, according to Rubrik.
