Rocket Software has released System Builder Extensible Architecture (SB/XA) 6.2.3. In the new release, there is now the ability to zoom in and out and resize screens to improve usability. The ability to take full advantage of a screen’s real estate, especially when moving between laptop sized screens and full desktop monitors, helps users to be more efficient. In addition, the new Admin Console lets users execute TCL commands from within SB/XA clients.
In addition, the second phase of the mobile early preview has started. U2 Web DE will allow users to expose existing stateful RBOs (adding to stateless RBOs and uQueries available in the first phase) via the U2 REST Server, and includes a RESTful RBO API along with a number of enhancements suggested by current early preview participants. In early 2014, Rocket will also begin an early preview of mobile capabilities in SB/XA.
Users who are interested in participating in the program and providing feedback on the functionality, should email Rocket at u2askus@rocketsoftware.com.
