Rocket Software is releasing a new version of Rocket jBASE, combining scalable, flexible, seamless interoperability with connectivity and low overhead for system management and administration.
“Rocket Software works with our partner, Polaris, who performs automated scans to uncover vulnerabilities in the code, enabling us to deliver enhancements to our customers faster,” said Hunter Holmes, associate product manager at Rocket Software. “Since last year, these scans have revealed security defects that we are legally required to address. We’ve improved the quality and security of jBASE by putting it through these robust security scans.”
Rocket jBASE, version 5.9.0, boasts multiple encryption enhancements, other security updates, and bug fixes.
Rocket jBASE is an object-oriented integrated database and application development environment designed for transactional and analytical database applications.
“In support of jBASE, one of our long-term MV enterprise servers, we have tripled the number of R&D Rocketeers dedicated to jBASE. By employing R&D talent from around the world, we’re in a better position to execute our goals for jBASE,” said Holmes.
