Rocket Software announced the latest enhancements to the Rocket U2 System Builder Extensible Architecture version 6.6.2. This release brings a host of improvements and fixes that enhance the functionality and reliability of the platform.
Key resolutions and enhancements include:
- XUI SE Editor Stability: For users of UO.NET applications, the XUI SE editor now handles data with CRLF delimiters without corrupting it to ensure data integrity and smooth operation.
- FTP/SFTP File Transfer: Improvements to the FTP/SFTP feature prevent the creation of 0KB files when the SSH connection profile includes the host computer name prefixed with the username.
- Grid Field Justification: A new field, “Get Grid Field Justification from Field Definition,” has been added to the GUI Parms screen. By entering “Y,” users can now get justification for grid fields directly from the field definition, enhancing data presentation.
- SBClient Stability:
- The FTP/SFTP feature in SBClient no longer crashes when a password is missing.
- Forms sent to SB.DISP now maintain their size and position, even when multiple lines are sent.
- SSL Configuration: Users can now configure the SSL property list without encountering issues, ensuring secure and reliable connections.
- Data Parsing: For users upgrading from versions 6.5.7 and 6.6.1, the TU.BUIKD.XFER,DATA now correctly parses multiple SORT fields, streamlining data management.
- Session Management: On all platforms except UniVerse on Windows, closing the SBClient session using the top right “X” now properly closes the session and clears the license, improving resource management.
- SH.VERIFY.USER Interface: The SH.VERIFY.USER FUI interface now accepts up to 80 characters, significantly increasing its functionality from the previous limit of 16 characters.
- Help Tree Errors: Rocket resolved multiple line help tree errors, ensuring smoother navigation and user assistance
Hot Fixes
In addition to these improvements, Rocket Software released two hot fixes:
- 6.6.2HF1: The update adds TCP keep-alive timers to SBClient, enhancing connection stability.
- 6.6.2HF2: The update resolves the GUI SBClient ‘EN’ flickering issue, providing a smoother user experience.
