Rocket Software has added a new way for users, customers, and enthusiasts to engage with Rocket MultiValue experts and peers with their recent launch of the official Rocket Forum.
“We are very early days, but we are proud of where we are right now,” said Jeff Winter, SVP, chief marketing officer, Rocket Software. “Customer centricity is one of the two big pillars here at Rocket.”
The forum, launched 2 months ago, is comprised of subforums focused on Rocket’s many IBM Z, IBM i, and MultiValue solutions. Partners and customers—and even non-customers—can sign up for alerts to keep up with product announcements, best practices, new blog posts, and virtual events.
Our MV partners and customers are very engaged and passionate, according to Winter. It was a no-brainer to start offering an even more interactive experience for them.
“We’ve only recently launched this community and are focused on growing it. The goal is to share valuable information, such as best practices, tips and tricks, product news, and more,” said Winter.
The COVID-19 pandemic has underscored the need for effective communication between users, partners, and MV software developers, and the new Rocket Forum provides an engaging place for all participants.
As the community grows, Rocket plans to make the forum even more rewarding for users through gamification and the ability to earn badges for participation and expertise, Winter explained.
“The value of these communities grows with members, discussions and new content,” Winter said. “The broader the ecosystem is, the more useful it will be for everyone.”
The ultimate vision for the Rocket Forum is to have a deep well of partner and user-generated content, Winter noted.
