Ridge Security Technology Inc. is releasing RidgeBot version 4.3.3, introducing a powerful integration that enhances proactive exposure management for organizations—combining RidgeBot’s automated vulnerability detection and validation capabilities with leading vulnerability management (VM) solutions.
This move offers a comprehensive approach to continuously assessing and prioritizing the highest-risk vulnerabilities, according to the vendor.
The integration within RidgeBot 4.3.3 enables seamless asset discovery and assessment, followed by payload-based validation. The VM platforms continuously discover and assess assets to provide a list of identified vulnerabilities. RidgeBot receives this detailed list and proceeds to test these vulnerabilities with payloads to prioritize the active risk that each one poses.
RidgeBot then tags the assets with active risks as validated by RidgeBot. With this information, the SecOps team can immediately focus on and remediate the most perilous vulnerabilities, achieving the highest impact in the shortest time, using the least resources, to best protect assets, the company said.
