Revelation Software is preparing for the introduction of OpenInsight 10, the most significant release since Revelation took OpenInsight into the 32-bit world. To provide information to its user base in advance of the new release, Revelation has announced a Revelation Users Group (RUG) meeting in the EMEA region.
Mike Ruane, president and CEO of Revelation Software will be in the EMEA region for a week to cover all things OpenInsight 10. It is expected that the usual RUG meeting will take place on the morning of Tuesday, September 29. Tuesday afternoon and the following two days, September 30 and October 1, will consist of a more in-depth look at OpenInsight 10.
The information on OpenInsight 10 will cover the massive changes to the API, the Presentation Layer and the Universal Driver, as well as Performance Enhancements, and new System Admin Tools, etc.
In addition, a new feature to OpenInsight 10 will be a WYSIWYG Form Designer. The O4W Form Designer will provide the ability to nest DIVs within DIVs. This will offer developers complete authority over the placement of controls on the form. The O4W Form Designer will support controls for toolbars, buttons, content layout, form elements, lists, images and tabs.
The RUG meeting will be free of charge, while there will be a fee for the two-and-half-day in-depth lessons on OpenInsight 10.
