Revelation Software has announced that the keynote speaker for the Revelation Software Users’ Conference will be Dan Lier, a best-selling author, sales and leadership expert and internationally recognized motivational speaker. The conference for Revelation’s customers, partners, end users, and resellers globally will take place Tuesday, March 24, through Friday, March 27, 2015, at the Omni Houston Hotel in Texas.
At the conference, Revelation will be showcasing the new capabilities in OpenInsight 10.0 – including an interface to the Git source code management system; 32-bit and 64-bit enabled UD with support for Linux and failover; new NoSQL connectors to get applications to the cloud and back; and a modern presentation server with a rebuilt form designer.
Although there are two tracks, Revelation is presenting each twice so that someone who has attended one track of sessions can then attend the track they missed on the following day. “We feel that is very important. We don’t want anyone to miss any topic,” said Robert Catalano, director of sales at Revelation Software.
As it did last year, in lieu of an exhibition floor, Revelation will host a networking social on the Tuesday evening of the conference, which Revelation is calling “Show That to Me.” This goal is to provide an opportunity for attendees to plug in their laptop and demonstrate the applications they have built on top of OpenInsight, Revelation’s repository-based applications development environment that enables development teams to work collaboratively to design, develop, deploy and scale high-performance business solution.
“The networking social worked so well last time and it is not as pretentious as having vendor booths,” said Catalano. It is more educational and provides a way to foster relationships between attendees and expand the OpenInsight ecosystem, he added.
As with other conferences there will be time for fun as well, Catalano said. The conference will kick off with a welcome reception cocktail hour the first night and feature a poolside barbeque on the night before the conference ends.
