Pillar Data Systems, a provider of application-aware storage systems, has formed a new distribution agreement with SYNNEX Corporation, a business process services company. Through this relationship, solution providers and VARs can take advantage of SYNNEX's distribution capabilities when sourcing the Pillar Axiom Storage Solutions. By joining with SYNNEX, Pillar Data Systems expects to deepen and expand its reach with storage solution providers who are focused on medium and enterprise-class business customers.
This announcement follows the introduction of a broad range of partner programs, including the Emerald Program, which provides new revenue opportunities and business development incentives to Pillar Channel Partners. These programs are designed to enable Pillar partners to develop stronger relationships with their customers, while maintaining mutually rewarding working relationships throughout the sales process. Pillar's latest initiative with SYNNEX is expected to help deliver true business process improvements and measurable return on investment for Pillar partners and in turn help them increase sales and margins across the board.
With the addition of the Pillar Axiom Storage Solution, a storage platform that differentiates performance based on application priority, SYNNEX is able to offer its U.S. partners storage solutions for a broad base of businesses, but with a particular focus on the storage needs of medium and enterprise-class businesses.
"All of us at Pillar understand that to remain competitive, it is imperative to offer a compelling and clearly differentiated solution and enhanced partner network to deliver added value and ROI. It is this philosophy, especially in our work with companies such as SYNNEX that is the core of our success," notes Brad Painter, vice president of worldwide channel sales for Pillar Data Systems. "SYNNEX's strong background in storage and network infrastructure solutions and its relationship with the solution providers who serve key customers in this market makes for an ideal partnership."
