Pick Cloud, Inc. and Ladybridge Systems, Ltd. will jointly host an in-depth look at data collections and how they work in the OpenQM MultiValue database management system during a joint webinar on Wednesday, September 17, at 10:30 am PT.
The webinar, which is the second in a series, will be presented by Mark Pick, CEO of Pick Cloud, and Martin Phillips, Technical Director of Ladybridge Systems.
According to the companies, data representations such as JSON and XML have the ability to extend well beyond the three dimensions supported by the MultiValue data model. Processing this data efficiently can present challenges when needing to parse or update large multi-dimensional data items. The webinar will introduce the concept of data collections that use extensions to the familiar MultiValue environment to store and manipulate arbitrarily multi-dimensional data.
The first webinar in the series– “Introduction to OpenQM – A Tour of Benefits and Features” was held May 21, 2014, and is available for replay here. This webinar was an overview of features and benefits of the latest release of OpenQM and also featured OpenQM’s database as a service (DBaaS) component. The third in the series on exception handling will be announced.
