Paxata, provider of an adaptive data preparation platform, is partnering with Cisco, creating a jointly developed solution dubbed Cisco Data Preparation (CDP).
“We are delighted to partner with a world-class organization like Cisco as we continue to fulfill our vision to bringing Adaptive Data Preparation to every analyst in the enterprise,” said Prakash Nanduri, Co-founder and CEO of Paxata.
The Cisco Data Preparation platform will be powered by Paxata and offer an easy-to-learn and use Excel-like interface and powerful machine intelligence algorithms, two-way integration with Cisco Data Virtualization to leverage prior IT investments and close the gap between business users and IT, along with other features.
The platform will be sold as a standalone offering but it is perfect for Cisco customers who have invested in Cisco Data Virtualization, Cisco Connected Analytics, Unified Computing Systems and data center investments who want to take a major step forward in their business agility journey, according to Paxata.
“Paxata will expand Cisco’s reach by bringing data preparation to a much larger business-facing audience leveraging a state-of-the-art Big Data processing platform that meets IT’s requirements for scale and governance,” Nanduri said.
Cisco Solutions Manager Bill Kellett will demonstrate CDP in Cisco booth 425 at the the Strata + Hadoop World NY Conference being held on September 29 through October 1, 2015.
