In a tightly contested match for the three seats up for election on the PASS Board of Directors, members of the Professional Association for SQL Server selected directors for two new regional seats and an open seat for the 2014/2015 term. This year, the PASS Board converted two seats to regional director-at-large seats, designating one for EMEA to bring more international perspective as PASS continues to grow globally and one for the US/Canada. An open director-at-large seat, without regional restrictions, was also up for election.
Joining the PASS Board are Jen Stirrup of Copper Blue Consulting Ltd., winner of the EMEA regional seat; Tim Ford of Spectrum Health Information Systems, winner of the US/Canada regional seat; and Amy Lewis of Hard Dollar, winner of the open seat. The new directors will begin serving their term on January 1, 2014. A total of 3,904 votes were cast by 1,514 voters this year.
